It’s always rewarding to hear people talk about how inspired they are after attending a conference. Fortunately, this was the sentiment shared at the 8th Annual Net Promoter® Customer Experience Conference, which was held in Miami last month. In fact, one of our clients in attendance was so motivated by what she heard that she immediately scheduled a team meeting upon her return to the office!
This year marked our second time sponsoring the event. Additionally, executives from two of our clients, Covario and TriNet, were among the speakers invited to share their company’s Net Promoter success stories with the 500+ attendees.
Covario’s head of PR, Rick Clancy, talked about how the search marketing agency and software provider has achieved world-class Net Promoter Scores and strong growth through hiring, training, incentives, internal branding, and effective communication. Patrick Villella, VP of Client Services at TriNet, described how keeping a finger on the pulse of evolving customer needs has helped the cloud-based HR services provider stand apart from the competition. Both presenters captivated the audience and concluded with a lively Q&A session. Stay tuned; the slides for each of their presentations will be available on our site next week.
Thanks to our clients’ contribution and our networking booth, we had plenty of exposure at this year’s conference. Plus, our very own Christian Muma was among a handful of attendees interviewed by conference emcee, Deb Eastman. His response to “what creates detractors” was broadcast during the opening remarks. In case you’re wondering, he described how failing to have a “proper system in place to listen to the feedback coming in” negatively impacts the customer experience. Great job, Christian!
But, it wasn’t all work and no play. To celebrate both Rick and Patrick’s presentations, we invited our clients in attendance and a few new friends to join us for happy hour on the terrace at 15 Steps restaurant. This provided an excellent opportunity for socializing about the event and listening to our clients swap best practice approaches to their NPS programs.
Between keynotes and breakout sessions, there was no shortage of suggestions to help organizations at every stage of Net Promoter adoption. If you missed the event, we’ve got you covered!
